To view and modify the PDF properties, please navigate to File > Properties. There are five property-related tabs. The Security tab describes security permissions and what functionality is allowed within a PDF.

When a user opens your PDF document, they see the initial view of the PDF. You can set the initial view to the magnification level, page and page layout that you want.

By editing layer properties in the Layer Properties dialog box, you can control the visibility of layers and set whether to print or export layers.

You may need to change the order of layers in the list, or move a layer from one layer group to another. In the navigation pane, to reorder a layer, just press Alt while you click the layer’s name and drag it to the desired location.

  1. In the navigation pane, select the layer you want to delete. 
  2. Click the menu button in the top left corner of the Layers panel, and choose Delete Layer, or press Delete on the keyboard.

You can flatten layers by choosing Flatten Layers from the Layers panel menu, acknowledging the warning that the action can’t be undone, and then clicking OK.

You can merge layers by choosing Merge Layers from the Layers panel menu, selecting the layers to merge and the target layer, and then clicking OK to confirm.
