To save a local PDF document to the iManage10 repository save the changes you made in the document and then do the following:
To save as a new document in iManage10 repository:
- Go to File > Save As > iManage10 > Save As. Or click Share > iManage10 > Save As > Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, choose a target folder and enter the name for the document. Enter the Author name, or click the button next to the text box and choose a name. You can also type your comments in the Comments text field.
- After completing all of the settings, click Save to save the document to the iManage10.
To save as a new version of an existing Work document:
- Go to File > Save As > iManage10 > Save As New Version, or click Share > iManage10 > Save As > Save As New Version.
- In the pop-up dialog box, select a document in iManage10.
- Specify the document properties in the pop-up New Version dialog box, and click Save to save it as a new version of the selected document.
To save a PDF document in iManage10, you can choose to replace the original document, or save it as a new version or a new document in the iManage10. After modification, do any of the following:
- Click Share > iManage 10 > Save and Sync or click the Save button in the Quick Access Toolbar to save your changes directly to iManage 10, which replaces the original document with modified document. (Note: If the document has been checked out by others, you can’t replace the original document.)
- Go to File > Save As > iManage10 > Save As, or click Share > iManage10 > Save As > Save As. In the pop-up dialog box, choose a location, and specify the document properties in the right part of the dialog box. Then click Save, and the modified document will be saved as a new document, leaving the original document unchanged.
Go to File > Save As > iManage 10 > Save As New Version, or click Share > iManage10 > Save As > Save As New Version. In the pop-up dialog box, set the document profile for the new version, and the modified document will be saved as a new version, leaving the original document unchanged.
