Automatically install updates: Foxit PDF Editor regularly checks for updates every three days and downloads them automatically when there are available updates. Next time you launch the application, the updates will be installed automatically.
Tip: If you are an organizational user and your administrator has configured Foxit PDF Editor to update silently across the organization via GPO or Foxit Customization Wizard, your application will update silently in the background when a new version is ready, without user interaction or notification. (Available in subscription Releases)
- Automatically download updates, but let me choose when to install them (recommended): This option is checked by default, which enables Foxit PDF Editor to download updates automatically. When the download completes, an “Update” button will appear at the top right corner of the application window for you to install the update.
- Do not download or install updates automatically: Never download or install updates automatically.
