- Click File > Open > Add a place > DMSforLegal. Before using Foxit PDF Editor to open PDFs on Epona DMSforLegal, you are required to install Epona DMSforLegal client in your system if you haven’t.
- (Optional) If you have added Epona DMSforLegal in Foxit PDF Editor before, the DMSfor Legal item will be listed under the Open menu, and the DMSforLegal context tab will be displayed. You can click File > Open > DMSforLegal > Browse to open a file from Epona DMSforLegal.
- In the DMSforLegal Open dialog box, select the document you want to open, and click OK.
- Choose how you want to open the PDF document:
- Check Out and Open: Open the PDF file and check it out so that others cannot modify the PDF when you are working on it.
- Open: Open the PDF file without checking out.
- (Optional) If necessary, check Don’t ask me again so that Foxit PDF Editor will remember your selection and save it as the default way to open a file from the Epona DMSforLegal. Once checked and applied, Foxit PDF Editor dialog box will not show up the next time you open a file from the Epona DMSforLegal.
