Cursor Coordinates

By Cynthia, 28 November, 2025

When enabled, Foxit PDF Editor displays your pointer’s real-time X and Y coordinates in the top-left corner of the document pane. The origin (0,0) is at the page’s upper-left corner; X increases to the right and Y increases downward. Coordinates continue to increase positively when you move the cursor beyond the right or bottom edges of the page area, and become negative when you move left of or above the origin outside the page area. When you select an area or an image with the Select Text or Image command, or select an annotation with the Select Annotation command, the feature also shows the selection’s width and height.

To enable Cursor Coordinates for the current document, go to View > View Setting > Page Display and check Cursor Coordinate. This setting applies only to the current document and will reset when the document is closed. To choose your preferred unit (inches, millimeters, etc.), open File > Preferences > Measuring and select the desired option under Measurement Units.
