Before creating a PDF file with Foxit PDF Editor Printer, you may wish to access PDF printing preferences to set up options for your PDF files. To access PDF printing preferences of Foxit PDF Editor Printer, you need to open the Foxit PDF Editor Printer Properties dialog box by doing either of the following:
- Accessing the PDF printing Preferences from Control Panel:
For Windows 10, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers > Printers, right-click on the Foxit PDF Editor Printer and then select Printing preferences to open the Foxit PDF Editor Printing Preferences dialog box. For Windows 11, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers > Printers & Scanners > Foxit PDF Editor Printer > Printing preferences.
Tip: To open Control Panel, type “Control Panel” in the search box on the taskbar and select Control Panel from the results.
- Accessing the PDF Printing Preferences from the Print dialog box. When you print a file from any windows applications and open the Print dialog box, select Foxit PDF Editor Printer and then click on the Properties button or the Preferences button (the button name varies depending on the application you use).
In the Foxit PDF Editor Printer Properties (or the Foxit PDF Editor Printing Preferences) dialog box, specify settings as needed in the Setting tab and the Layout tab.
