By default, the Start page appears when you start Foxit PDF Editor and includes the list of recent documents opened, helpful product tutorials, and Tool Wizard for some most frequently used features to help you get started with Foxit PDF Editor. You can click on the items (including Home, Chats, PDF Collaboration, and more) on the left-hand side of the Start page to start your document workflow quickly.
- Home: On the Home page, you can see Tool Wizard and the recently opened files on your local drive and in Foxit DMS (Available in Subscription Releases).
- Chats: Manage the AI chat history associated with the documents you have interacted with in Foxit PDF Editor. (Available in Subscription Releases)
- PDF Collaboration: Manage files you have shared with other PDF Editor users for shared review, annotation, and commenting, and access files shared with you. (Available in Subscription Releases)
- Foxit DMS (or Cloud Documents in some regions): View and manage your files and files shared by others, all synced from Foxit DMS. (Available in Subscription Releases)
- Video Tutorials: The Video Tutorials page provides a list of tutorials to help you quickly learn how to use different tools.
- Open File: Clicking the Open File button allows you to open a file from your Local Computer.
The Start page will appear every time you launch the program unless you disable it by unchecking the Show Start page option at File > Preferences > General > Application Startup, or your administrator disables it using deployment tools across your organization. If the Start page is enabled but has been closed, you can reopen it by selecting View > View Setting > Start Page.
